Coffin Road by Peter May

I was sent this book to review by Real Readers and to begin with just the title had my attention, I thought this looks like a book for me. I quite often stick to my favourite authors but a change isn’t always bad and in this case I was right!
This book is a fantastic read and from the very begining it grabs the reader by the arm and drags them into the story, full of mystery and drama from the off.
The way the book is written revealing not only the story to us but to the main character at the same time was genius and I liked it even more for that. The story unfolds from three different main characters which is a safe number so as not to get confused, although there are not too many characters throughout the entire book.
You would think the lack of characters would make it easier for the reader to figure out what was happening but it didn’t, it was so well written that it kept me guessing until the end.
Great read for lovers of this genre!
