NYPD Red by James Patterson

NYPD Red is another new series from the master James Patterson and I can’t say often enough how amazing he is as an author.
Many people slate his books for being too dramatic and unbelievable but my argument is, you brought the book knowing it was a fictional story with every right to be as thrilling as a movie so then do not complain that it isn’t believable!
Rant out the way, die hard Patterson fans will adore this book. Its full of drama, excitement, murder and utter delusion,  a fantastic crime thriller.
NYPD Red are a team of elite police and detectives who are tasked with protecting the A list of New York, so when a couple get murdered in a short space of time NYPD Red are called to save the day. Detective Zach Jordan and his new partner Detective Kylie MacDonald are the lead on this crime spree, only one snag is they used to be lovers!! Can they work together to solve this crime before this maniac can eliminate all of the A list in the city?!
Fantastic read for James Patterson followers and for people who just like a good book.

Run For Your Life by James Patterson

The second book in the Michael Bennett series and I have to say that I loved it. I am a massive fan of Patterson and all of his work so it is no suprise that this series is just as good as the others.
Bennett is a cop with a huge brood of adopted kids, 10 to be exact! The series of books follow his life as a father and how he deals with being a Detective, they are full of suspense and drama and are extremely hard to put down.
A great read for anyone who loves a thriller that gets the reader involed.

61 Hours by Lee Child

This book is number 14 in the line of hero Jack Reacher novels, but this is my first experience with author Lee Child. I have to say, I was sceptical at first as he isn’t one of my collected authors but I was impressed! The story was intriguing and the tension built up nicely, the plot was good even though I figured out certain bits of the story I still enjoyed the read.
As I said the story focuses on damaged hero Jack Reacher, he inadvertently ends up in South Dakota and steps straight into some strange goings on! The cops, a little weird and possibly bent are tasked with protecting a witness who could put a huge criminal out of business, they are also tasked with back up duty for the prison! To Reacher this feels like a set up from the start and he ends up trying to protect the witness and figure out what is going. With twists and turns along the way and help from unlikely places make this book a great read, I shall not be collecting this author but I recommend giving Lee Child a go.
