I’m Watching You by Karen Rose

I’m Watching You is another fantastic thriller from the amazing Karen Rose. As always if you like a bit of romance along with your crime thriller then these books are a must read.
The main characters are Kristen Mayhew and Detective Abe Reagan, who from the start create such a frustrating romantic tension!
Kirsten finds herself entangled in the mist of a horrific vigilante killer who dedicates all the murders to her, as a prosecutor she has her fair share of success but it’s the people who got away with their crimes that need to fear….for their lives.
In amoungst attempting to figure out who the killer is, Kirsten needs to battle her own demons before she can give herself to abe. Abe has his own issues as always but will not give in the fight for either Kirsten or the capture of the killer.
A fast paced thriller from the start, I couldn’t figure it out myself which makes the story even better. It will anger the reader, it will scare the reader and it will also warm the readers heart.
High praise for Karen Rose.

The Queen of Zombie Hearts by Gena Showalter

This is the third book in the Alice in Zombie Land series. Aimed at young adults, but still very much a good read for everyone.
I would definitely say that it is worth reading the books in order as they follow on from one another and may not make sense otherwise.
I am not usually into zombie books and I often find young adult books too juvenile but these books are great, they get the story done without using bad language.
I do get frustrated with the amount of sexual tension between the main characters Cole Holland and Ali Bell and I wish they would just get down to it, but of course they don’t go into any detail!
The story is mainly about the great fight between good and evil and whether good always wins. In that repect these stories are good because it builds up tension and doubt as to whether the outcome is the one the reader wants.
A great read for all ages!
