Joyland by Stephen King

For those of you who like the idea of a Stephen King novel but are put off by the length of most of his stories then Joyland is the book for you. At only 283 pages you get the full King experience but at a fraction of the length.
The book is a thriller about carnival life at Joyland, Devin Jones takes a summer job at the park in order to forget his broken heart. Instead he ends up facing more than the strife of young love when he ends up looking into the murder of a young girl at the park.
To get to the bottom of the legend that is the horror house Devin must realise more than he ever thought possible.
Great short read for King fans.
