The Dead Zone by Stephen King

I found The Dead Zone to be a good book, once it had gotten into the swing of it. Totally unlike King to take too long to pull the reader into his grasp, I found this one quite slow. Also once it did pick up pace the story was over.
The Dead Zone is about Jonny Smith who develops the ability to ‘see’ into people’s future and the darkness they harness within their souls.
This ability cannot be anything other than a curse as it drives people away from him, scared and unsure. It also leads Jonny into an all consuming confrontation with a man who has the darkest soul possible!
A pleasant read from King, not one of his best.
