Unnatural Exposure by Patricia Cornwell

I have once again returned to the series of Kay Scarpetta written fantastically well by Patricia Cornwell. This is the eighth book in the series and I have to say I get just as hooked as I did on the first novel.
This time Kay gets a case involving dismembered bodies spanning the USA and Ireland but the newest body just doesn’t seem to fit with the killers MO.
Can Kay and the usual suspects, Bemton, Marino and Lucy solve this case before it gets any worse….too late it already has!
Kay receives a call to say a woman has died from what looks like the deadly virus smallpox.
Now the team must scramble to solve this case as quickly as they can, and stop whoever is doing this from spreading the virus.
Could this be worse than anything Kay has ever faced, seeing that anyone exposed to the body is at risk of illness and even death. This story has me hooked throughout, it is fast paced and full of technical forensic jargon that I love.
Definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves a good crime thriller.
