The 12th Victim by Katia Lief

untitled2

Another great book from Katia Lief, from start to finish it was a great read. The 12th Victim is part of the Karin Schaeffer series which is a great read as a series but I myself have read them in the wrong order and they still make great reads so don’t be put off by the mention of a series.

The 12th Victim is about the police’s investigation into the notorious ‘working girl killer’, who has managed to evade capture for many years. The characters involved in the story have all had a bad past to deal with but they need to put it all aside in order to beat the killer.

unfortunately the past is sometimes harder to put aside than people think leading to good friends mistrusting each other, partners suspecting the other and retired cops getting dragged unwittingly into the case. Between all these hazards can the ‘working girl killer’ be caught!

A great read, not an overly long book but filled with great plot twists and a good story line.
